About The Role

As a MDM Architect at Cognizant, you will lead the design and implementation of a robust Master Data Management solution for a leading banking client. Your expertise in MDM frameworks, data modeling, and integration strategies will ensure scalability, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Design overall MDM architecture aligned with business needs
  • Define data models, data flows, and migration strategies
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, data stewards, and stakeholders
  • Mentor teams and establish best practices in data governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as an MDM Architect in large-scale enterprise environments, particularly in banking or financial services. Proficiency in MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, Reltio), data modeling, metadata management, integration technologies (ETL, APIs, ESB), and cloud platforms. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Informatica MDM Certified Architect
  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
  • Data Governance or Data Management certifications (e.g., DAMA)
