About the Role

As a Lead Visual Designer at Cognizant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling designs that enhance user experience and align with our brand vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept to completion.
  • Oversee creation of visually appealing designs using tools such as Google Web Designer, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to meet technical requirements.
  • Develop and present design concepts to stakeholders and refine them based on feedback.
  • Create engaging motion graphics and video content with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Implement user-centered design solutions optimized for various platforms.
  • Conduct design reviews to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Utilize Adobe Edge Animate and Adobe InDesign for interactive and print-ready materials.
  • Create detailed design specifications and guidelines for team members.
  • Contribute to developing our overall design strategy.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Google Web Designer, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
  • Expertise in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe Edge Animate and Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent design review and communication skills.

Certifications

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, or equivalent certification is required.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from CAD 70,000 to CAD 90,000 depending on experience. Additional compensation includes eligibility for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards.
