Job Description
Connected Car Software Test Engineer
Cognizant Mobility (Shanghai) Co., Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated Connected Car Software Test Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Major Responsibilities
- Execute cross-functional software testing on various intelligent cockpit functions.
- Consolidate and perform pre-analysis on identified issues.
- Identify valid bugs, raise tickets, and manage the entire ticket lifecycle.
- Maintain and regularly upgrade testing platforms, including test vehicles and test racks.
- Produce timely and high-quality test reports.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Arrange test drives and support test leads/managers in test plan creation.
- Mentor and coach junior associates.
- Support account managers in knowledge consolidation and business acquisition.
Competences and Capability & Skills
- Strong knowledge in software testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Intelligent Cockpit functions and features.
- Experience with T-Box, smart phone & vehicle interaction is advantageous.
- Familiarity with problem management tools such as ALM, JIRA, or similar.
- Understanding of vehicle E/E architecture, including ECUs and Bus communication.
- Keen eye for bug detection and ability to think from a user's perspective.
- Strong hands-on ability, capable of operating common E/E measurement tools (multimeter, oscilloscope).
- Experience working within Agile development processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, PROJECT).
- Good driving skills are preferred.
- Excellent English language skills (written and oral) are mandatory.
- Strong communication, presentation, reporting, and teamwork skills.
- Structured and disciplined approach to work.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn.
