About the Role

Cognita Innovative Solutions, a small ambitious company based in Bergen op Zoom, is developing an AI platform for the legal sector. We are seeking an International SEO Specialist to lead our search strategy and work closely with our Dutch marketing colleague.

Your Role

  • Optimise and maintain our WordPress websites for higher visibility and performance.
  • Use Ahrefs for keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink management, and content opportunities.
  • Improve technical SEO: crawling, indexation, internal linking, and structured data (schema).
  • Enhance site speed, user experience, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Rebuild and optimise older domains to strengthen authority and generate high-quality backlinks.
  • Analyse results and propose clear action plans for continuous improvement.

Your Skills

  • Proven experience in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and Ahrefs (basic HTML is a plus).
  • Understanding of hreflang, canonicals, schema, and site structure.
  • Familiarity with Google’s E-E-A-T principles for building authority.
  • Fluent in English and comfortable collaborating with a Dutch team.
  • Independent, analytical, and result-driven mindset.
