Overview

Cogna is on a mission to modernize critical industries such as energy, logistics, and manufacturing by building an AI-powered Software Factory. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will design and implement our BI infrastructure and scalable ETL layer, supporting thousands of applications and hundreds of thousands of daily ETL jobs.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to define BI infrastructure needs.
  • Implement state-of-the-art data collection, warehousing, and reporting solutions.
  • Architect and implement a scalable ETL layer integrated with DSL specifications.
  • Support monitoring, alerting, and status reporting capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and high-quality delivery in engineering and operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong technical background in distributed systems and large-scale infrastructures.
  • 3+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analysis.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and off-the-shelf ETL solutions.
  • Experience in designing scalable data architectures and implementing ETL pipelines.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on open communication and continuous improvement.
