The Project and Team
The Senior Python Software Engineer will join a creative back-end team to build a user-facing networking application and drive market adoption. The team consists of an Engineering Manager, UX designers, front-end and back-end engineers, network specialists, and QA engineers. The project operates with SCRUM and engages with product owners based in the US and Europe, while the development team is located in Poland.
Your Role
As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will:
- Lead and direct technical initiatives within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and front-end developers.
- Recommend, implement, and optimize innovative solutions and features.
- Partner with product owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable backlog items.
- Engage with end users and enforce rigorous testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- At least 7 years of work experience.
- Expertise in Python and competence in other programming languages.
- Solid Linux skills and familiarity with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with network/security software solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker containerization and backlog creation.
- B2 level or higher English proficiency.
Preferred Experience
Extra qualifications include:
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services.
- Experience in end-to-end testing pipelines.
- Proven collaboration in distributed teams.
