The Role of Senior Solutions Architect AI Search Infrastructure

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will work closely with Account Executives to secure technical wins across enterprise accounts. This role is a technical pre-sales position requiring significant architectural depth; you will be designing real systems, not just performing demos.

• Lead proof of value engagements from initial design through to production deployment.
• Architect resilient, high-availability semantic search systems.
• Model throughput, latency, and determine infrastructure sizing requirements.
• Conduct workshops and architectural deep dives with CTOs and platform teams.
• Provide expert advice on RAG, agentic AI workflows, and hybrid search strategies.
• Serve as the voice of the customer internally, influencing the product roadmap.
• Navigate complex enterprise procurement and information security processes.

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates typically come from backgrounds such as Solutions Architect or Pre-Sales Engineer at a search, database, or infrastructure company, or are a Backend Engineer who transitioned into a customer-facing architecture role, or a Technical Consultant deploying distributed systems at scale.

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical delivery role.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Typescript.
• Experience in sizing infrastructure and modeling Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Ability to clearly articulate complex architecture to both engineers and executives.

Bonus points for experience with vector databases, Lucene, Solr, Elastic, OpenSearch, or ANN indexing systems.
