Senior Software Engineer, Platform
Some engineers build features, others build the foundation that makes everything else possible. Coders Connect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform for a fast-growing AI infrastructure client powering intelligent search and large-scale AI applications. This cloud platform is central to modern AI systems, and this role focuses on evolving the core platform layer.
This is not an operations role. This is not feature development. This is platform engineering at its best, where you will design and evolve shared services, control plane components, and internal APIs to enable engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and at scale.
What You’ll Work On
- Designing core platform services consumed across the company.
- Driving architectural initiatives like gRPC adoption and event-driven foundations.
- Building control plane and cluster-level abstractions.
- Writing production-grade Go services.
- Reducing cognitive load for engineers through thoughtful platform design.
- Improving scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years backend engineering experience.
- Strong Go expertise.
- Kubernetes and cloud-native depth.
- Solid distributed systems understanding.
- Experience building internal platforms or shared services.
- Ownership mindset and strong communication.
Bonus Points
- gRPC experience.
- Event-driven systems knowledge.
- Control plane design expertise.
- Familiarity with observability tooling.
