Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Cloud Operations at Coders Connect

Their cloud platform runs complex distributed systems across multiple regions and cloud providers, scaling rapidly. They are currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Platform to strengthen their core cloud operations layer.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering and reliability, focusing on high-impact infrastructure. This role is not ticket-driven DevOps, but rather platform engineering with real ownership.
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Build platform services using Go and Python.
- Improve system scalability and reduce operational overhead.
- Strengthen observability and monitoring systems.
- Automate infrastructure and workflows.
- Participate in incident response and long-term hardening initiatives.
- Reduce Keep-The-Lights-On (KTLO) efforts through real engineering improvements.
What You Bring
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or SRE-style roles.
- Strong proficiency in Go and Python.
- Proven production experience with Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems principles.
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Expertise in CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Comfortable participating in on-call rotations.
Bonus points if you’ve built Kubernetes operators or worked with SaaS or database products.
