We are looking for an Engineer to be a vital part of our Supply Chain Team in Lahore. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes, upholding quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of an Engineer

• Ensure production programs are executed according to processes and desired quality parameters.
• Maintain comprehensive records related to production activities.
• Continuously monitor production and material usage productivity, initiating improvement projects.
• Manage the daily production program implementation and communicate effectively with foremen.
• Oversee the application of daily, monthly, and annual lubrication and maintenance programs for production line machines.
• Ensure accurate records of machine failures/stops are kept, investigate root causes, and propose/develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Plan and coordinate line maintenance and lubrication performed by operators, ensuring proper record entry.
• Identify, plan, and order necessary spare parts.
• Lead and guide the team in fault detection and elimination, providing support to employees.
• Perform and enforce maintenance activities in accordance with planned periods and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plans.
• Ensure all operators receive adequate training for maintenance, repair, and cleaning of their assigned machines.
• Facilitate the education and training of self-employed formulas and implement necessary production line modifications.
• Monitor staff performance and cultivate a strong teamwork environment.
• Maintain discipline within the plant and ensure strict implementation of Safety procedures in the production area.
• Determine and announce daily production targets for lines, with approval from the Production Manager/Operation Manager.
• Determine material needs in alignment with the production program.
• Monitor daily production material stocks and all production activities.
• Carry out field, machine, and equipment cleaning and layout controls to meet defined targets.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
• Control and minimize waste by adhering to our Environment and Energy Management system.
• Execute assignments as directed by senior management.
• Implement Quality, Food Safety, and HSE management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a PEC Recognized institution.
• Major in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
