Overview
As a Truck and Transport Mechanic at Coast Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd., you will be responsible for the adjustment, repair, and replacement of parts and components across various commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service, ensuring all work is completed to specifications and client satisfaction.
This is an on-site position where all work must be completed at the physical location; remote work options are not available.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a relevant mechanic role.
Responsibilities
Your primary tasks as a Truck and Transport Mechanic will include:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service.
- Test and adjust units to specifications.
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Provide customer service.

The role requires:
- Hand-eye co-ordination.

- Standing for extended periods.
Own Tools/Equipment
You must own and provide:
- Steel-toed safety boots.
