The Solutions Architect for Coalition Technologies is a senior development role focused on defining, planning, and executing on web design and development projects. In this role, you will work closely with sales, strategy, project management, design, and development teams.

Your Duties and Tasks

• Educate prospects on various ecommerce and CMS platforms using a consultative approach.
• Conduct needs analysis and technical scoping sessions with prospective customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical consulting during demos, calls, and site visits.
• Document client needs and project requirements accurately.
• Serve as a trusted advisor bridging sales, marketing, and technical teams.
• Develop processes to ensure industry-leading project execution.
• Support internal teams during project discovery and provide emergency development when needed.

You Should Have

• 4-5+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar senior development experience.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• Experience with platforms like BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.
• Excellent consultative presentation and scoping skills with C-level executives.
• Experience with commerce solutions including POS, catalogs, ERP systems, and payment gateways.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Director of Design and Development and the President.

Location & Compensation

This position considers candidates from California, New York, Washington, and Colorado with hourly base pay ranging between $22.50 - $35 depending on location, experience, and other factors. Outside these states, compensation may vary.
