Opportunity at New Business Service Representative
Join Co-operators, a leading Canadian financial services co-operative committed to a sustainable and resilient society. As the first point of contact for Distribution Partners, vendors, and internal teams, you will build and maintain strong relationships through clear communications and efficient processing of Individual Life New Business and Policy Changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails regarding CLIC and CUMIS inquiries.
- Contact advisors and brokers to expedite underwriting on pending cases.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Policy Changes, Billing, and other departments.
- Complete accurate documentation before passing files to underwriters.
- Provide bilingual support when possible.
How You Will Succeed
You will drive change by using critical thinking to identify issues and propose solutions while providing excellent client service.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a related role.
- Knowledge of Individual Life products, processes, and systems is an asset.
- LOMA 281 and 291 considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English is required; French is an asset.
