About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Attachments - Construction Equipment to support the growth of our construction equipment attachments business across a defined regional territory. This role blends technical product knowledge with customer and dealer engagement to drive sales traction and strengthen market presence.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical sales resource, performing product demonstrations, application support, and technical specification reference to dealers and distributor partners.

This position is B2B focused and requires frequent travel within the region to visit dealers and customers, deliver demos, and support the wider sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Dealer/Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional dealers, distributors, and key B2B customers.
  • Support sales activities across the territory to drive revenue growth for attachments and related solutions.
  • Assist in identifying sales opportunities and supporting deal progression.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, customer presentations, and negotiations as a technical resource.
  • Provide accurate product quotations and support the development of commercial offers tailored to customer needs.

Technical Expertise & Product Application

  • Understand and articulate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of all attachment products.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and hands-on trials at dealer showrooms and customer sites to showcase value and performance.
  • Recommend correct product configurations, ensuring proper match with equipment and customer applications.
  • Support installation guidance and troubleshoot basic technical issues during demos or pilot phases.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to share with product management and engineering teams.

Training & Support

  • Provide product and application training to dealer sales teams and customers to build competence and confidence.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that clarify product value and enhance sales outcomes.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor products, market trends, and customer requirements to support sales strategy adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM of sales activities, demo results, customer feedback, and pipeline progression.

Required Qualifications

Education & Technical Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and product understanding essential.
  • Prior experience with construction equipment, hydraulics, or attachments is highly desirable, but extensive general sales experience is not required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good technical understanding; able to communicate features and benefits clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations and support hands-on sessions with customers and dealers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build credibility and trust.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior exposure to B2B sales environments, especially OEM/dealer/distributor channels.
  • Practical experience on construction job sites or in equipment operation support roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and standard sales reporting tools.
