The Role

The Test Engineer will contribute to building efficient, scalable, and reliable enterprise solutions for the financial industry at CMG. You will expand and maintain automated test suites and infrastructure, develop testing frameworks and strategies, and build internal tools to seed realistic data scenarios.

  • Enhance and maintain test automation suites.
  • Create developer-facing tools for efficient testing.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify gaps and improve testing strategies.
  • Leverage AI to optimize product quality.

Engineering Culture

CMG's engineering team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and best practices. You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to code reviews, and establish new testing protocols while exploring innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement functional and non-functional automated tests.
  • Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure testability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop reusable tools to support engineering teams.
  • Investigate test failures and debug issues.
  • Support quality assurance best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and test automation.
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of full-stack web application architecture.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
