About The Role
We’re seeking a Product Designer, Design Systems to join our product team at a pivotal moment in our company’s growth. In this role, you’ll help design and engineering teams build consistent, high-quality experiences across all products and platforms. You’ll own and evolve our design system across design tools, front-end libraries, infrastructure, and documentation, and contribute to internal tooling that will enable us to ship products and features faster. This position is based on site in our downtown Toronto office.
What You’ll Do
- Build, evolve, and maintain a scalable design system across Clutch’s web and iOS products.
- Work closely with design lead and developers to support design-to-code workflows.
- Collaborate with marketing team to incorporate our brand identity into the design system.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, usage guidelines, and examples.
- Influence design system roadmap and long-term scalability.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tooling improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a reusable component library and implementing details in code.
- Excellent understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS, React).
- Excellent visual design skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and domains.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $130 000-170 000 per annum. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plans include healthcare, dental care, vision care, prescriptions, life insurance and dependent coverage; start from day 1. (Applicable for Permanent Full-Time). Pay decisions reflect objective criteria: skills, performance, market benchmarking, responsibilities and working conditions.
