Overview
The Construction Project Senior Manager Administration at CLSA leads multiple construction and renovation projects to ensure quality delivery, adherence to budgets, and timely completion.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee complex construction projects by coordinating internal and external stakeholders including contractors, designers, and regulatory bodies. Streamline communication, mitigate risks and address challenges proactively to reduce delays and cost overruns. Ensure all project initiatives align with strategic timelines to support business agility and smooth execution of new locations.
- Prepare detailed management proposal papers and analytical reports for headquarters.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with facility staff, vendors, and service providers on maintenance issues.
- Develop leasing strategies and manage lease agreements to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Support the Head of Administration in various administrative and strategic tasks.
Requirements
Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, organizational skills, and bilingual fluency in Chinese and English are required. A strong background in procurement, contractor management, construction planning, and familiarity with building systems is essential. Proficiency in MS Office and property management software is also expected.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Project Management or a related field. Additional credentials such as a project management degree or engineering/architectural experience, along with experience in multicultural settings, are a plus. Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM is also desirable.
