About The Team
The Cloudflare Customer Support Team handles complex technical issues and offers guidance through phone, email, chat, and social media. Acting as the voice of the customer, the team relays valuable insights to drive product improvements.
What You'll Do
As a Technical Support Engineer at Cloudflare, you will:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers.
- Engage with customers via email, phone, and chat with clear, empathetic communication.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to resolve advanced issues.
- Assist customers in responding to security incidents using Cloudflare’s tools.
- Work flexible, rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We're Looking For
Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with command line tools and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS), networking fundamentals, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and database servers is essential. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with relevant certifications, is preferred.
