Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer Korea is the technical lynchpin throughout the sales cycle. You will educate and empower prospects and customers on Cloudflare’s platform, deliver technical demonstrations, and guide implementations for customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions during pre and post sales.
- Qualify prospect and customer use cases and technical requirements.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept.
- Advise on best practices in internet security and performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams.
- Travel up to 50% for customer meetings and conferences.
Requirements
Applicants should have 7+ years in a customer-facing sales or consulting role, a strong background in internet technologies, expertise in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript, and familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE. Candidates should be technically curious, adept at translating complex concepts, and committed to continuous learning.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building or contributing to web applications.
- Understanding firewalls and network protocols including HTTP(S) and DNS.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, command-line tools, and security vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC-2).
- A related academic degree is an advantage.
