Clio is a global leader transforming the legal experience by improving the lives of legal professionals and increasing access to justice. We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to join our Engineering team.

Summary

This role is available to candidates across Canada and the US. If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto), you will be expected to be in office a minimum of two days per week on designated Anchor Days.

Responsibilities

  • Deep dive into technology and code alongside your team.
  • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors.
  • Partner with Product Management and Design to execute the product roadmap.
  • Work with Recruiting/People to recruit top talent for Clio’s engineering department.

About You

You are an experienced engineering leader who is comfortable with hands-on coding when necessary. You have a proven track record in scaling services, managing high-performing teams, creating long-term strategies, and promoting positive culture and diversity. You have a growth mindset and are keen on process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
