Now Hiring: Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to lead the design, development, & optimization of enterprise data solutions. This role will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, & enabling advanced analytics and reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure data services, building advanced SQL queries, & modern data engineering practices.

What You’ll Contribute as a Data Engineer

Data Architecture & Integration
  • Design & develop end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Build & optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured/unstructured data.
  • Implement data models, data lakes, & data warehouses in Azure.
  • Use Azure Databricks for big data transformations & analytics.
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, & performance tuning in Azure SQL/SQL Server.
  • Integrate streaming & real-time data solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Ensure data governance, security, & compliance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps, Git, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
Power BI Ownership and Optimization
  • Lead the architecture & administration of Power BI across enterprise.
  • Design & implement scalable semantic models unifying data from disparate systems.
  • Author complex DAX measures & calculated columns to support dynamic reporting needs.
  • Optimize DAX queries for performance & scalability across large datasets.

What You’ll Leverage in this Role

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on data engineering; banking or financial services industry a plus.
Technical Expertise
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Proficiency with Spark, Python, or Scala for data transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Experience with big data platforms and distributed systems.

Work Environment & Hiring Process

This is a remote role within the United States, adhering to Eastern Standard Hours. Occasional U.S. travel for company events or leadership sessions may be required. The physical environment involves sustained standing and sitting, frequent communication, PC use, and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
