What You’ll Do
- Shape the product by owning key features in both frontend and backend systems.
- Engage with the open-source community and customers to incorporate feedback.
- Tackle technical challenges by optimizing HyperDX for petabyte-scale observability data.
- Develop groundbreaking analysis tools and scale cloud-hosted services.

What you bring
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js (Next.js and Express).
- Proficiency in a front-end framework like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Experience with SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- A passion for open source and building developer tooling.
Bonus Points
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Familiarity with additional languages like Python, Rust or PHP.
- Experience with SDKs and a strong perspective on observability tools.
