Who We Are Looking For
Clever Digital Marketing is seeking a performance-minded Ad Creative Video Editor with strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills to join our creative team. This role is focused on producing high-performing short-form ad creatives and motion graphics for paid social and display campaigns. The ideal candidate has experience editing performance-driven ads, understands what makes a viewer stop scrolling, and is curious about emerging AI tools that enhance creative production.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-performing short-form ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and Display using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Develop thumb-stopping creatives optimized for engagement, lead generation, and conversion.
- Translate creative performance data (CTR, hook rate, watch time) into actionable editing improvements.
- Collaborate with Media Buyers and other creative stakeholders to refine ad concepts and ensure content aligns with performance goals.
- Lead the post-production process from initial edit to final delivery, including cutting footage, adding music and sound effects, colour grading, and implementing motion graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and refine video concepts that align with advertisement strategies and conversion goals.
- Utilize B-roll footage, sound design, captions, and other advanced editing techniques to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
- Utilize emerging AI-powered tools (e.g., Runway, Luma Labs, Google Veo, ElevenLabs, Sora) to improve creative storytelling and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure all video content is produced within deadlines and meets our quality standards.
- Export video projects in required formats and resolutions, ensuring quality standards are met before final submission.
- From time to time, develop long-form content for internal and external resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working in a performance marketing agency.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in creating high-performing ad creatives for lead-generation campaigns using Adobe Creative Cloud Apps.
- 3 years of proven experience in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and related plug-ins and programs.
- Strong portfolio showcasing performance-driven ad creatives in diverse formats for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Strong experience with motion graphics and visual effects software.
- Proficient in colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, and other post-production processes.
- Experience collaborating with media buyers and strategists to refine creative briefs and iterate on ad performance testing.
- Ability to produce high-quality ad creatives under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Job-Type: Full-Time Permanent
Standard EST business hours
Working Arrangements: Remote
Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 CAD, based on experience and portfolio quality.
