The Role: SEO Specialist
Do you have a knack for optimizing websites, mastering SEO strategies, and using data to fuel growth? Want to play a pivotal role in making sure a growing brand stays ahead of the competition in search rankings?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven SEO Specialist to join our remote team. If you’re passionate about improving organic visibility, conducting in-depth keyword research, and optimizing web content to boost traffic and conversions, this role is for you. Imagine being the person who ensures that every page of the site is optimized to rank on Google and every customer can easily find your services when they need them. When it comes to SEO, you're hands-on; optimizing landing pages, tracking keywords, running competitive analyses, and improving website traffic and conversion rates.
What Your Days Might Look Like:
- Optimize website content and structure to achieve first-page Google rankings for target keywords
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research focusing on high-value terms
- Create and optimize landing pages
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, user engagement, bounce rates, and conversion metrics using Google Analytics
- Develop and implement local SEO strategies to improve Google Business Profile visibility
- Track and report on competitor analysis and adjust SEO strategies to maintain competitive advantage
- Manage content creation including blog posts, press releases, and backlink building initiatives
- Coordinate with existing SEO company while transitioning responsibilities in-house
- Set up and optimize call tracking systems for SEO leads beyond current Google Ads tracking
- Research and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance SEO performance and lead generation
- Create detailed monthly reports showing keyword rankings, organic traffic growth, and lead conversion rates
Who Will Thrive in This Role:
- You have experience optimizing website content and structure for first-page Google rankings.
- You’re skilled in keyword research for high-value and location-based search terms.
- You have experience creating and optimizing SEO-focused landing pages across territories.
- You’re comfortable analyzing traffic and performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- You have experience implementing local SEO strategies and improving Google Business Profile visibility.
- You’re adept at managing content, backlinks, and competitor tracking.
- You’re organized, communicative, and quick to adapt when priorities shift.
- You are willing to work in a US time zone schedule.
- You can secure the required technical setup, including:
- At least a 720p HD webcam
- A noise-canceling headset
- A primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
- A backup laptop, backup internet device, and backup power source
- A main computer with at least Intel Core i5 (or equivalent) and 8 GB RAM
- A backup computer with at least Intel Core i3 and 4 GB RAM
