About the Forklift Operator Warehouse Worker Role

Clean Harbors in Caseyville, IL is looking for a Forklift Operator Warehouse Worker. In this role you will operate forklifts, load and unload materials, handle inventory, and support daily facility operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
  • Load, unload, and store drums, containers, and materials.
  • Support warehouse operations including inventory control and shipping/receiving.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years or older.
  • 1+ years of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain one.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule. Benefits include comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, a Group 401(k) with company matching, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, generous paid time off, company-paid training, and tuition reimbursement.
