Overview

ClarkDietrich is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to promote vinyl, composite, and steel finishing products as well as cold-formed steel framing to architects and engineers. The role involves delivering expert CEU presentations, tracking credit sessions, and conducting specification reviews to ensure product inclusion. The position requires up to 50% travel, including overnights and occasional weekends, and must be based in one of the designated states (CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, TX).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain AIA and CSI memberships and attend key association conferences.
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual CEU presentations and track outcomes.
  • Identify leads using the Dodge Pipeline and support Territory Managers.
  • Review project specifications to ensure ClarkDietrich product inclusion.
  • Update master specifications and communicate activity through CRM.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with persuasive presentation abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, CRM, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel.
  • Understanding of building codes related to steel framing products.
  • Desirable certifications: CSI CDT, CCPR, and/or LEED (company paid).
  • College degree preferred or minimum 5 years in the construction industry.
