Opportunity for a Banking and Financial Services Attorney
Clark Hill Law is seeking an experienced Banking and Financial Services Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Banking and Financial Services business unit. This role is specifically within the firm’s financial regulatory and compliance practice, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry experts in a specialized and growing area of law.
The successful Banking and Financial Services Attorney will support two partners, focusing on a diverse range of critical tasks:
- Assisting in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions.
- Reviewing and enhancing client policies, procedures, compliance management system infrastructure, and risk management systems.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of various financial services statutes and regulations to ensure clients meet regulatory expectations across payments, lending, debt collection, and mortgage servicing for both banking and non-banking institutions.
- Providing essential regulatory due diligence support for M&A financial services transactions.
This position demands strong subject matter expertise in financial services regulation, extensive legal research capabilities, proficiency in producing high-quality work product, and exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Direct interaction with clients and regulators will be a regular part of the role.
Candidates are expected to be meticulously detail-oriented, possess a solid work ethic, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also show a keen interest in supporting and contributing to business development initiatives. This includes preparing client alerts, delivering industry presentations, participating in conferences, and building robust relationships within the financial services sector.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this full-time Banking and Financial Services Attorney position is $200,000 - $220,000, influenced by qualifications, experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
