Futures Technology Engineer

Discover Clarivate's Futures program, specifically designed for students who have recently completed their bachelor’s degree, are currently pursuing a master’s degree, or will graduate by August 2026. This program is structured to help you learn, grow, and prepare for a successful career in Software Development and Quality Assurance.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments
- Must be a recent graduate or a final-year student in Computer Science or a related field.
- High interest in programming, software development, and/or quality assurance, with a good understanding of core computer science concepts such as algorithms, patterns, and data structures.
- Proficient in English language.
It would be great if you also had
- Practical experience with object-oriented programming languages and relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to write fully executable and functional code.
- Completed a personal and independent project showcasing practical software development skills.
- Profile on GitHub.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Gain hands-on experience with programming languages (such as Java, C#, JavaScript, OR Python) in the field of software development.
- Work closely with experienced engineers and managers to evaluate requirements, create, and implement features and services.
- Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting issues in development or testing environments.
- Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve coding standards.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Develop an understanding of cross-functional roles, including Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and similar.

About The Team
You will be part of a local team of experienced engineers in an international environment. From the beginning, you’ll go through a structured training program and receive continuous guidance from mentors who are committed to sharing knowledge and supporting your growth. Our collaborative culture ensures you gain practical experience and develop strong technical skills, building a solid foundation for future career development in software engineering.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within the CET time zone. This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week. Our application window will be open from January 12 to February 27, 2026. The expected start date is September 2026.
