About the Role
This role is responsible for identifying potential customers and assists to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities. This role nurtures strategic relationships and works with the marketing, sales, and product teams to implement business development initiatives.
Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies to generate leads and attract new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Carries out B2B telemarketing and appointment setting.
- Qualifies leads and provides status updates in Salesforce.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support to transition qualified prospects to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and sales progress.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
- Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

Job Scope
This position works under direct supervision in a self-directed and results oriented manner. The incumbent works within established standards and procedures, relying on a broad range of knowledge gained through training and experience to complete the job responsibilities as assigned. Duties are moderately complex in nature. The incumbent may have regular contact amongst all levels of internal and external sources to complete objectives keeping the needs of external and internal customers in mind when making decisions and taking action.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, And Training)
- Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma with 4 years related experience
- 1-3 years' experience in sales or business development roles
- Experience in a medical healthcare claims role dealing with facilities, providers and members preferred
- Background in healthcare claims management and the ability to interpret benefit plans/Explanation of Benefits preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft office
- Ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $60K-$90K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
