Responsibilities of a Temporary Office Assistant
- Handle indoor and outdoor delivery of documents, publications, and miscellaneous items.
- Perform photocopying, binding, shredding, disposal, postal services, venue booking, press clipping, purchases, pantry, and tea services.
- Assist in the reception of guests and provide support to official functions, conferences, staff activities, fire drills, evacuation, and other contingency exercises.
- Check and report identified defects in the office environment, decoration, office plants, furniture, and office equipment.
- Supervise contractors for various fitting-out, renovation, cleaning, replenishment, and maintenance works, as well as venue setup and reinstatement.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks during banquet and catering events, including related venue setup, reinstatement, and cleaning of utensils.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements for a Temporary Office Assistant
- Form 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent in Cantonese; good command of English and Putonghua.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and physical fitness for outdoor and demanding duties.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and outdoor duties as and when required.
- Availability to work on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and/or Public Holidays as required.
- Experience in pantry, catering, and hospitality services is an advantage.
