About the Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer at CJ OLIVE YOUNG, you will be instrumental in designing data marts and building scalable pipeline architectures that leverage customer behavior data. Your responsibilities include establishing and operating efficient ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from diverse sources such as RDBMS and external APIs. You will also develop integrated data models that combine order/sales data with service activity logs to generate tangible business value.
A core part of this role involves ensuring data quality from the collection stage through to utilization, processing data to interpret its business context, and establishing customer behavior-based data standards. Furthermore, you will manage consistent data governance practices to maximize data utilization across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in data modeling and DW/DM construction and operation within e-commerce and service domains.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate and define data requirements with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and advanced data processing for large-scale data handling.
- Proven experience in ETL/ELT process design and maintaining stable data pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience in quality management and verifying metric consistency to ensure data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing web/app user behavior data and directly refining metrics for funnel analysis, from acquisition to conversion.
- Hands-on experience in designing company-wide taxonomy that reflects service logic and user interaction, and systematically managing data event guides.
- Experience building end-to-end processes, from large-scale data collection to analytical table processing, within a GCP/BigQuery environment.
- Proficiency in improving operational efficiency by establishing Python and Airflow-based data collection automation and quality testing systems.
- A deep understanding of business-centric DW architecture and experience in leading a data utilization culture through effective data governance.
