This full-time, permanent position is located at City Hall, 100 Queen St. W, Toronto, with a salary range between $195,150 and $254,800. Role Summary
This role provides expert political advice and guidance on intergovernmental and agency governance matters, developing priority strategies and fostering effective relationships with various government levels, agencies, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute intergovernmental and agency strategies.
- Advise senior leadership and coordinate policy agendas.
- Negotiate bi-lateral and tri-lateral agreements.
- Create and implement governance frameworks aligning with City objectives.
- Oversee agency relationships and manage sensitive issues.
- Lead corporate initiatives and manage the annual budget.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in government relations, public policy research, and senior-level leadership. Strong strategic, analytical, and communications skills are essential, along with the ability to manage cross-jurisdictional issues and develop effective government strategies.
