Job Overview
The Department of Finance’s Purchasing Division is seeking a Materials Handler for its Utility Warehouse. This entry-level position focuses on warehouse materials management and computerized inventory management systems.
Position Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the Materials Handler will:
- Receive, store, ship, and distribute materials, equipment, and products.
- Perform inventory control and manage warehouse operations.
- Utilize computerized systems for inventory management.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or its equivalent and one year of paid experience in inventory control and warehouse operations. A valid California driver's license is required at the time of appointment.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience operating a forklift is considered an advantage.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $80,547.00 - $103,113.12, with potential to start at the lower end of the range.
