About the Position
The Phoenix Police Department seeks an Administrative Assistant I to perform a variety of administrative duties that support business needs. This role leverages initiative and judgment under the guidance of department or division heads. Duties include supervising clerical or technical personnel, gathering information, performing statistical analyses, and developing improved systems and procedures.

Salary and Benefits
The hourly pay range is $24.93 to $44.77, with a hiring range up to $38.68 per hour. Salary offers consider skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and internal equity. Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of paraprofessional experience in governmental research/finance administration or have supported an administrative officer. A bachelor's degree in public or business administration or a related field is required, although combinations of experience and education may also qualify. A criminal background check is required and positions may demand the use of personal or City vehicles with necessary licenses and safe driving records.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with processing records requests with redaction software, supervising workgroups, providing customer service in various formats, and managing office/reception area operations is preferred.
