Cyber Griffin Project Manager

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. The City of London Police is seeking a Cyber Griffin Project Manager to join their Specialist Operations Directorate, based at 21 New Street, London. This position offers a starting salary of £42,220 plus £6,920 London Weighting.

About The Team

Cyber Griffin is a NCSC assured and CPD certified program, forming a key part of the City of London Police's Cyber Crime Unit. Supported by the Corporation of London, Cyber Griffin's mission is to protect businesses from cyber criminality and bolster the Square Mile's reputation for world-leading security. The program currently offers 6 core PROTECT and PREPARE services, with plans for expansion, focusing on general security awareness, incident response, and strategic planning. To date, Cyber Griffin has trained over 103,000 end-users, delivered over 2,700 services, and partnered with 1,600 companies.

About The Role

The Cyber Griffin Project Manager will be instrumental in leading the financial, data management, administrative, and overall project management responsibilities crucial for achieving Cyber Griffin’s strategic objectives. This role involves significant management of senior internal and external stakeholders, developing and executing the program’s public communications strategy, conducting performance analysis, and authoring strategic reports.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the program’s inbox and team calendar, ensuring timely dissemination and response to requests, and identifying calendar conflicts.
  • Manage program performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and facilitate national policing reporting through APMIS.
  • Oversee program finances, including officer manager duties and yearly budget monitoring, adhering to all related CBIS responsibilities.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Quality Management System (QMS), and all associated documentation required for the program's accredited statuses.
  • Develop and implement the program’s communication strategy across various social media platforms.

Requirements

Candidates for the Cyber Griffin Project Manager role should possess experience in or a strong aptitude for:

  • Utilizing software applications such as Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and APMIS.
  • Demonstrating strong reporting and communication skills for effective management of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibiting robust organizational and time management skills to maintain the program’s schedule of deliveries, performance reviews, and financial reporting.
  • Managing personal data in compliance with regulations such as CMA, GDPR, and related legislation.
