Position Overview - Pharmacist
The Pharmacist works across both ambulatory infusion centers and inpatient oncology units. Reporting to the Director/Manager of Pharmacy, you will join multidisciplinary teams in Medical and Surgical Oncology to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Provide distributive and clinical pharmacy services.
- Monitor chemotherapy toxicities and manage disease states.
- Perform pharmacokinetic services and inpatient rounding support.
- Verify chemotherapy orders and dispense medications safely.
Shift & Schedule
Rotating shift times between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (majority starting at 8:00 a.m.) with rotating weekends every 8 weeks.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
- Pharmacy residency preferred or equivalent hospital experience.
- Current Illinois State Registered Pharmacist license.
- Oncology pharmacy experience is preferred.
