Overview
The City of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Commissioner Implementation & Evaluation for the Department of Housing. Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner (Policy, Planning and Implementation), this role leads a division focused on process improvement, new program implementation, data system enhancements, and cross-bureau collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise professional staff in program review and process improvement.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Conduct data analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies.
- Develop strategic work plans and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders.
- Oversee new program pilots and modifications post-evaluation.
- Guide the design of analytical models for performance evaluation.
- Mentor staff and build collaborative relationships across the department.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, exempt position located at 121 N LaSalle St, Chicago. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Salary starts between $121,668 and $137,532 with new hires receiving the starting rate.
