About the Role

The Administration Assistant will support the Development Administration team within the Regulatory Services unit. This temporary part-time role (17.5 hours per week) is scheduled until 30 June 2026 and is ideal for those seeking flexible, professional work.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning Directorate
  • Draft correspondence, manage databases, and prepare documentation
  • Register and manage records using Council’s information systems
  • Respond to internal and external customer enquiries
  • Maintain and update Council registers and applications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience along with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and records management systems is required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position starts at $66,379 (Grade C, Step 1) plus 12% super, pro-rata to part-time hours. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for employee wellbeing and development.
