About the Role

The US Personal Banking (USPB) Marketing Transformation and Delivery (MT&D) organization at Citi is central to marketing operations, channel delivery, and marketing technology, supporting a broad spectrum of consumer banking efforts including Branded Cards, Retail Bank, Retail Services, Mortgage, and Wealth Management.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Marketing Campaign Planning & Analytics Lead is a pivotal strategic and analytical role. You will be responsible for driving the execution of complex cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery with comprehensive transparency and robust control mechanisms. This position demands a proactive thought leader with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of influencing and building solid relationships with internal teams, external partners, and senior executives.

You will manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment, showcasing superior organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability. This role bridges business strategy, operations, controls, and channel execution, making effective communication paramount. A commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and continuous learning is essential. While prior experience in the Marketing, retail banking, or financial services industry is preferred, the ability to foster operational excellence and continuous improvement is crucial.

The Campaign Planning & Analytics Lead will contribute to various projects aimed at improving MT&D operational reporting, integrating processes for enhanced efficiency, and establishing consistency in our capacity management structure. These efforts will empower the organization to make informed tradeoffs while successfully delivering against business goals. Close partnership with peers and leadership across Marketing, Lines of Business, and all operational teams is required. This role demands strategic thought leadership and the ability to synthesize diverse business priorities into an actionable plan of record, ensuring transparent handoffs and agility in response to evolving business dynamics.

You will also be responsible for appropriately assessing risk in business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for Citi's reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment in personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing and the retail bank/financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven insights, BI data mining, process analysis, performance benchmarking, descriptive analytics, and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in data languages such as Python, SQL, R, and/or Power BI for data queries, analysis, and visualization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, advanced project management skills, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
  • Creative problem-solving aptitude and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to be a proactive thought leader and propose innovative approaches.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, positive, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management skills and discipline to deliver while maintaining a robust controls environment.
  • Experience ensuring complex cross-functional strategic initiatives are delivered on-time, with transparency across all organizational levels and proper controls.
  • Proficiency in all Windows applications suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Experience with business process automation platforms and/or business intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Appian, etc.).

Education

  • Bachelor’s/University degree required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
