About the role
About the Role
This position is part of the AML Functions and Technology team and will work closely with business teams, technology developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap. The individual will be responsible for driving the business analysis and insights of the technology roadmap and solutions supporting the product backlog and ensuring its alignment with business goals. They will provide the required support for the end-to-end lifecycle encompassing design, development, and deployment of monitoring solutions at an enterprise scale to support business use cases. The individual should also be able to support multiple projects, provide business expertise and guidance to both Development teams and define user stories and acceptance criteria. They will be responsible for the successful execution of the projects running in the AML monitoring space, maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Development Team.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Carry out analysis of the business requirements, determine feasibility, working out proposals and presenting to business teams and stakeholders for enhanced business decisions.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining, and carrying out necessary processes and practices.
- Provide project-level analysis, producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan etc).
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating product strategy into detailed features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to improve business decision making.
- Reviewing business processes to identify risks and opportunities for improvement and recommending actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Use analytical and statistical methods, programming, and data modeling to analyze large amounts of data and come up with actionable insights.
- Documents projects including business objectives, data gathering and processes, leading approaches, final solution design, and detailed set of results and analytical metrics.
- Work with Product Manager, Technology Engineers, Architects, business stakeholders and other technology teams to ensure quality solutions are delivered at an enterprise scale.
- Provide thought leadership by researching standard methodologies and processes, collaborating and contributing actively on the standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the team in various aspects – knowledge sharing, guidance to more junior members, contribute to design, establish best practices and methodologies.
- Take ownership and have end-to-end responsibility from the planning stage to presenting results and accepting completed work from the development team.
- Liaise with Global stakeholders and effectively communicate to be influential within the Global AML Landscape.
Qualifications
- Total 10+ years of working experience in business analysis and/or product ownership with at least 6+ years of relevant experience in providing expertise in large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation of business solutions in a large-scale enterprise setup.
- Proficient in database, querying and analyzing large-scale datasets for analysis, creating effective data visualizations and presentation to business teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of business analysis, estimation techniques, methodologies, and toolkits to develop scalable solutions for production.
- Applied quantitative and statistics skills, such as statistical analysis, distributions, etc., to design tests, interpret and explain results.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant qualifications suitable for this role. Master's degree is a plus.
