About the Role

The Strategic Equity Solutions and Derivative Middle Office AVP role at Citi provides operational support to the SES Origination and Trading desks. The role ensures timely end-to-end trade processing of structured derivatives and supports clearance, settlement, and investigation of securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex process challenges in securities processing.
• Process SES tasks including trade review, margin collateral reconciliation, and exception management.
• Provide advanced solutions and analytical guidance to junior staff.
• Oversee onboarding of new SES clients and represent the Middle Office team.
• Develop new techniques to streamline trading and securities processing.
• Maintain a robust control environment and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required. Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $98,960 to $148,440. Citi offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k), life and disability insurance, and various wellness and paid time off packages.
