Job Summary

The role is based in Mumbai and supports Citi’s US Equity Strategy team. This position centralizes in data aggregation, analysis, and ETF research while contributing to innovative equity strategy insights and publications.

About The Role

The Senior Associate is responsible for collecting and analyzing information to provide client insights that inform investment decisions. This includes responding to client inquiries, risk assessment, compliance, and report preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update an ETF database and proprietary classification scheme.
  • Generate monthly ETF flow reports and support ETF research publications.
  • Prepare periodic reports including weekly, quarterly, and special thematic research publications.
  • Build and manage unique data sets for US Equity Strategy reports.
  • Analyze S&P 500 and SMID companies alongside macro inputs.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong understanding of financial concepts and markets, excellent analytical and data management skills, and familiarity with Excel, Bloomberg, Factset, Python, and VBA. Effective communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

Experience & Education

Minimum 5 years in Equity Research with at least 2 years in equity strategy or quant roles. A Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics/Engineering/Economics is required, with advanced credentials such as an MBA in Finance or CFA considered a plus.
