Citi is seeking Placement Intern Analysts to join its Investment Banking team in Paris starting July 2026 for a 6-month period. The Investment Banking group provides strategic support in financial transactions and advises corporate clients on capital markets fundraising. Initiatives you will engage with include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, as well as underwriting and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities. No prior expert knowledge is expected, as this program is designed for you to become proficient.

Knowledge and Skills for Success

During your 6-month placement intern analyst program, you will be assigned to the France Investment Banking team. Your primary focus will be on financial analysis and business development. Successful placement analysts may be considered for a full-time position upon graduation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze industry trends related to business development.
• Build financial models, assess valuation, and explore corporate finance solutions for comprehensive financial analyses.
• Participate in client development, including coordinating data with clients and assisting in the presentation of new ideas.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to start in July 2026.
• Currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement approved by Citi.
• Possess student status and a related visa covering the entire internship period.
• Very good knowledge of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and oral (working language). Proficiency in additional languages is beneficial but not essential.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
