About the Financial Reporting Senior Analyst Role

Join our expanding Citi Finance Team in Budapest and progress in a supportive, friendly environment. The role is responsible for generating, tracking, and submitting financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The main objective is to accurately prepare and report business and financial transactions in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reporting returns.
• Ensure procedures and policies cover rules and regulations.
• Review and develop processes to increase efficiency.
• Liaise with departments regionally and nationally to resolve issues.
• Escalate process or report related issues.
• Participate in new system/process implementations for regulatory reporting.

Ideal Background

University/College degree in finance or accounting, with 3+ years of experience in financial or regulatory reporting. Must have advanced MS Excel knowledge, a good command of English, be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
