About the Role
The Data Quality Governance Analyst at Citi is part of the AIM global community driving data transformation. The role supports the US region of the Retail Consumer Bank by implementing data quality measurement programs and ensuring regulatory and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Support: Execute data quality measurements for regulatory programs like CCAR and AML.
- DQ Rules Design: Identify critical data elements, design and test data quality rules.
- Data Governance: Standardize data definitions and maintain consistency across systems.
- Score Cards: Publish monthly/quarterly product level score cards with executive summaries.
- Issue Management & Audit Support: Investigate defects, follow up with stakeholders, and provide data evidence for audits.
Expertise & Tools
The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAS, SQL, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data definitions, data quality frameworks, data governance, and data warehouse knowledge is essential. Experience in the banking industry and understanding of finance regulations or retail business is preferred.
Educational & Experience Requirements
Applicants should have an MBA, Mathematics, IT, Computer Applications, or Engineering degree from a premier institute. A post graduate degree in related fields is advantageous. 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in delivering data quality solutions with at least 1 year in the banking industry is required.
