Data/Information Management Analyst
This is a trainee professional role requiring a good knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems. You will have a basic understanding of underlying concepts and principles, and know how your team interacts with others to achieve objectives. You will make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis and resolve problems by applying acquired technical experience, guided by precedents. Communication skills are essential, requiring you to exchange information concisely and be sensitive to audience diversity. Your impact will be limited but direct, focused on the quality of tasks and services provided.
Responsibilities
- Administering defined procedures, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Delivering routine and defined outputs while developing knowledge of the broader work context.
- Assessing risk and demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation, clients, and assets by adhering to policies, ethical judgment, and transparently reporting control issues.
- Driving Business Insights: Provide relevant insights to the business that can accelerate strategic decisions, pointing towards early data trends and their drivers.
- Business critical Dashboards: Develop self-explanatory and detailed dashboards to review portfolio health with business leaders, including analytical backing for trends.
- Assessing Campaign Impacts: Understand campaign setup and use data exploration to determine actual campaign performance (P&L). Optimize marketing spends based on campaign performance.
- Opportunity Sizing: Assist the business in sizing the impact of regulatory, market, business, or strategic changes to the portfolio.
- Process Efficacy: Periodically review existing processes and identify potential streamlining opportunities.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Deploy existing reports to more advanced reporting platforms.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to identify, clearly articulate, and solve complex business problems and present them to management in a structured and simpler form.
- Hands-on experience in SAS, SQL, Python, and Pyspark.
- Experience working with large and multiple datasets, data warehouses, and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
- Experience in Tableau is preferred.
- Experience working with Credit Cards and Retail Banking products.
