The Business Execution team at Citi's Banking IGS in Mumbai primarily supports Business Managers in effective planning and strategizing. This involves performing in-depth analysis of various internal business metrics and supporting key franchise initiatives.

Role Outline/Job Summary

As a Business Analytics Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Manager in the day-to-day operations of respective franchise units. Your focus will be on conducting thorough analysis and research to inform strategic decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting Business Managers in day-to-day franchise unit operations, focusing on analytical insights for strategic decisions.
• Participating in planning, execution, and follow-ups of management disciplines like franchise reviews, client planning, and specific projects.
• Communicating with bankers, Business Managers, and product partners regarding business metrics, client prioritization, coverage, revenue, and pipeline.
• Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations on franchise performance for senior management, emphasizing revenue, backlog analysis, and calling intensity.
• Conducting detailed analysis related to budgeting by client and product, alongside reviews of target markets.
• Performing revenue analysis, including investigating missing or incorrect revenue bookings and collaborating with partnering teams to ensure accurate recording.
• Analyzing wallet data, tracking Wallet Ranking and Market Share, and querying discrepancies with Citi's internal systems.
• Generating various reports and analyses for metrics such as Revenues, Wallet, Outstanding and Unused Commitment (OSUC), GAAP Assets, Return on Risk Capital (RORC), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ROTCE, which are vital for senior management to run the franchise effectively.
• Adding value to routine deliverables through self-analysis and providing insightful commentary.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, fostering a constructive learning environment by sharing knowledge and experiences.
• Stepping up to support senior colleagues with the planning and execution of complex projects and team initiatives.
