The Role of a Solution Consultant at Citeline

Join a high-performing team at Citeline, offering excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement. We are seeking a Solution Consultant professional who can excel in and add expertise to a team focused on clinical trial strategy, planning, and execution.

This role is ideal for versatile, adaptive individuals eager to learn and grow their career within the clinical trial strategy, planning, feasibility, and recruitment space. You will help clients meet their business goals by leveraging Citeline’s evolving suite of solutions and services. Subject matter expertise in clinical operations and life sciences is essential. You will work collaboratively with Sales and Implementation teams to deliver value to clients through innovative solutions, accelerating the success of clinical trials and bringing critical new treatment options to patients.

As a Solution Consultant, you will partner closely with sales, implementation, and product teams to identify and qualify sponsor’s business and technical needs. You will be responsible for communicating how Citeline’s solutions benefit those needs, requiring a firm understanding of customer requirements and Citeline Clinical suite of solutions. This suite delivers support across Real World Data (RWD) custom use-case solutions, protocol, feasibility, and recruitment.

Solution Consultants are subject matter experts with deep clinical operation and life sciences knowledge and experience. Leveraging this expertise, they partner with Citeline sales, product, and data teams to develop strategies that solve customer challenges. You will demonstrate and position the value of Citeline’s new and existing Clinical offerings to customers, expanding existing partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Citeline Product and Sales teams to test new clinical offerings with potential clients and share Voice of Client feedback with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development/Enablement team to ensure appropriate and timely roll out of Early Adopter and General Adopter programs for new Citeline clinical solutions.
  • Run capabilities and scoping discussions across various client personas to determine Clinical use cases and develop strategies and solutions based on Citeline’s Clinical Product and Data.
  • Partner with Citeline’s sales team on client calls, presentations, and proposals.
  • Represent Citeline at meetings, conferences, and webinars, demonstrating a clear understanding of the clinical lifecycle, clinical operations, and the current landscape, connecting industry challenges to Citeline’s clinical solutions.

Other Standard Solution Consulting Responsibilities

  • Consistent collaboration with the sales leadership team to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Support sales with an informed, current clinical point of view.
  • Be a pivotal team member in the preparation and execution of key customer meetings.
  • Provide a tailored product demonstration based on product lifecycle, therapeutic area, and other important considerations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and product management on perceived gaps in product capabilities, relaying feature requests and suggestions based on market, customer, and prospect feedback.
  • Scope client solutions if a services overlay is needed to close business.
  • Develop outstanding professional relationships to maximize the lifetime value of each account.
  • Support revenue growth through innovative initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to align and integrate strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Clinical Delivery/Operations experience essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and/or industry experience in related roles.
  • Proven track record of high performance in a client-facing role for a minimum of 5 years.
  • A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data/analytics, and technology.
  • Experience in working with Citeline products/data/tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of specific disease areas (such as Immunology, Oncology, Rare Disease) and associated operational challenges is preferred.
  • Client-centric communication and ability to demonstrate empathy and confidence in interactions.
  • Thrives in working with others and enjoys a fast pace alongside a team committed to success.
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to work across executive leadership and cross-functionally with product management, project management, technical developers, client experience, and sales.
  • Strong skills in communicating meaningful value propositions to buyers and linking capability with client-specific value and targeted use case by persona type.
  • Data-driven communicator and ability to synthesize issues quickly and with confidence.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and thrives on winning through continuous improvement.
  • Recognizes that businesses build via teams and systems; prioritizes building a culture that enables a high-performing selling team.
  • Takes complex, nuanced clinical solutions and presents them simply through storytelling to tie use cases to success.
  • Operates with a high level of ethics and communicates with honesty and transparency.
  • Must communicate with a high degree of confidence while seamlessly demonstrating data in applications, rising above objections, and pivoting to address client’s questions.

Additional Information

Travel: Must be able to travel 20%.
