Director, Integrated Marketing Planning at Cisco

The Director of Integrated Marketing Planning for Cisco’s Networking business is a pivotal leadership role. This position is responsible for spearheading the strategy, planning, and execution of unified, omnichannel marketing campaigns. The goal is to deliver a consistent Cisco brand and connected customer experience across all digital, social, PR, and event platforms.

Working in close collaboration with global sales, creative, and product teams, this role is critical in driving awareness, engagement, and revenue growth for Cisco’s networking solutions. It ensures a premium brand presence throughout the customer lifecycle and across worldwide touchpoints. This leader will translate complex business and product priorities into scalable integrated marketing plans that support both global and regional execution.

Your Impact

  • Strategy & Planning: Oversee integrated marketing strategies and omnichannel planning that align with Cisco’s global business objectives and innovation roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively across sales, product, digital, content, field, and channel marketing teams for unified messaging and seamless execution across Cisco’s portfolio.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure a unified Cisco brand voice and message at every customer touchpoint, reinforcing trust and innovation.
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze and optimize campaign performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) using cross-channel measurement frameworks.
  • Innovation: Drive innovative campaigns leveraging emerging media, social trends, AI personalization, and strategic partnerships for future growth.
  • Enterprise & GTM Planning: Lead integrated marketing planning aligned to business units, product portfolios, and Go-To-Market (GTM) motions, translating priorities into cohesive execution.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Connect Brand, Demand, Digital, Lifecycle, Media, Events, Comms, and Regional teams to align audiences, messaging, timing, and channels for omnichannel coordination.
  • Integrated Campaign Leadership: Develop and guide integrated campaign frameworks for consistent storytelling and successful product launches across all channels and regions.
  • Data, Insights & Measurement: Utilize analytics and customer insights to define KPIs, optimize marketing plans, and foster a test-and-learn culture for continuous improvement.
  • Budget, Investment & Resource Planning: Align budgets to strategic priorities, maximize ROI across programs and channels, and coordinate agency/vendor resources for integrated initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years in integrated marketing, strategic planning, or campaign leadership.
  • Accountability for omnichannel execution and customer experience alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of B2B GTM motions, demand generation, digital marketing, omnichannel engagement models, and brand strategy.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing complex, large-scale integrated marketing programs with demonstrated omnichannel planning and orchestration experience, preferably within the B2B technology sector or a similar global enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of advanced digital marketing strategies, content marketing, social media engagement, lifecycle marketing, personalization, and customer journey design, and robust performance metrics analysis.
