Job Overview
CIMA+’s Project Management team leads construction projects across various industries including institutional, heritage, healthcare, public transportation, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing. As the Manager - Project Governance and Continuous Improvement, you will drive the development and implementation of best-practice project management processes within the Project Delivery Framework (PDF), working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, and engaging with major utility clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Project Management System: Lead cross-functional groups to align practices with the Project Management System.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives and advance continuous improvement.
- Design and maintain systems, procedures, and templates for engineering and project delivery.
- Drive efficiency through continuous improvement in project workflows and contract management.
- Develop tools for contract oversight and resource forecasting; manage rollout of new processes.
- Contract Management: Foster client relations and prepare performance, status, and risk reports.
- Coordinate relationship meetings, support client audits, and capture lessons learned.
- Onboarding and Learning Development: Develop onboarding and training programs, deliver workshops, and maintain training resources.
- Monitor budgets and time for training initiatives.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or Change Management. Experience in engineering consulting or the utilities sector is preferred. Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
